The Chinese giant is the new addition to the company’s mobile portfolio, with MIUI 14 on multiple devices. The selection brings together the most awaited products.
Xiaomi closed 2022 with important releases for the company’s portfolio. Some examples are the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, mobile phones that have become the flagships of the brand and that mount the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is characterized by offering very high processing speeds. Another highlight is the Redmi Note 12, a mobile phone that takes just 9 minutes to recharge. For 2023, the Chinese giant should focus on new releases, such as the top-of-the-range Xiaomi 14 and Poco F5.
In addition to smartphones, other software innovations are expected, especially in terms of user experience. This is because MIUI 14, Xiaomi’s customized interface which is currently only available on Xiaomi 13, will arrive on many of the brand’s models in 2023.
Other variants of Xiaomi 13
Xiaomi 13 is on the list of best mobile phones in the market. And it could not be otherwise: the combination of premium design, a powerful processor, and advanced cameras brings the device to the list of the most popular smartphones. The company is expected to launch new variants of Xiaomi 13 during the first half of 2023 to warm up the market.
This type of movement has been seen in the previous generation of the brand’s top-of-the-range model. In December 2021, the Chinese giant announced three versions of the product: Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X. Xiaomi 14
There is little information about Xiaomi 14. Some foreign media are betting that Xiaomi will skip the 13. That is, Xiaomi 13 will be launched under the name of Xiaomi 14. However, the rumors have not been confirmed.
For Xiaomi 14, predictions are based on the company’s history with recent releases. This means that the futuristic flagship should only be unveiled to the world at the end of 2023. Until then, there is time for the brand to implement the next generation of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
It should also be noted that the company should maintain volume dimensions very similar to those adopted by the current line (6.37 inches in the “Regular” model and 6.73 in the “Pro”). The partnership with Leica, a company specializing in photographic technology, is expected to continue into the next generation, with improvements expected in light capture.
Small F5
Poco F4 has done well in the market by aiming to offer processing speed and quality cameras at a lower price than other devices with similar configurations. For 2023, the company is expected to announce the Poco F5. The product has already appeared in certification bodies around the world, revealing some technical details of the next generation.
The main expected improvement is in processing. This is because the Poco F5 is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, which is one of the fastest today. In terms of displays, the brand is expected to keep the AMOLED display with a frequency of 120Hz and a resolution of 2K. To power this kit, a 5,000mAh battery can be used, compared to the Poco F4’s 4,500mAh.
There is no official information about the launch of the Poco F5 yet. However, the company is expected to launch the product between March and June.
Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro
The Poco X line generates a good amount of searches in Brazil. This is because the products are affordable and have attractive features. That is, the new generation of these mobiles must follow the same line that the two brothers started.
As for the technical data sheet, the rumors bet on the presence of a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display, which should work at 120Hz on the Poco X5. Already in the processor, we will have teams. While the Poco X5 will use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip, the Poco X5 Pro will have the Snapdragon 882G. Also, the most advanced model will have an AMOLED screen. MIUI 14 for more devices
MIUI 14 is Xiaomi’s custom skin based on Google’s Android 13. The version developed by Xiaomi reached the world in December 2022 and works within Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The novelty should be available on other brand models by 2023. The program promises more fluidity and stability. The company even took care of the development of the system with only eight pre-installed apps that could not be removed.
In January, 11 smartphones will receive MIUI 14. They are Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Pro, Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition, Xiaomi 1, Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50, Redmi Gaming Edition K50 Ultra, and Redmi K50.
